GrantHub / Foundant for Grantseekers review - grant tracking after the 2026 sunset

What it is

GrantHub was Foundant Technologies’ grant-tracking tool for nonprofits and grant consultants: a place to log the grants you are chasing, store documents, and get deadline reminders. Note that it does not find funders for you - it organizes the applications you already know about, replacing a tangle of spreadsheets.

Important 2026 update: the original GrantHub and GrantHub Pro were sunset on January 31, 2026. Foundant’s current product for grant-seeking organizations is Foundant for Grantseekers, which does the same job.

The honest math

Legacy GrantHub was priced at roughly $995/yr for the basic tier. The successor, Foundant for Grantseekers, is now quote-based with no public price list, so plan on requesting a quote and budgeting for a low-hundreds-per-month subscription. Treat any older ”~$95/mo” figures with caution - they predate the sunset.

Why the amber rating

This is a tracking tool, not a funder database, and for a small nonprofit the same job can often be done for free. Grantseeker.io launched explicitly as a free GrantHub replacement (unlimited users and grants), and a well-kept spreadsheet or your existing CRM may be enough. The amber rating reflects cost and fit, not quality: paying a quote-based subscription only to track deadlines is hard to justify at the small end.

Who should skip it

Organizations juggling only a few grants a year, or anyone comfortable with a spreadsheet or a free alternative. Foundant for Grantseekers makes more sense for teams managing a busy, multi-funder pipeline who want purpose-built tracking.
